What can I do to solve climate change?
(This strategy pretty much applies also to the other Monster Problems like the maldistribution of wealth, prejudice & racism, media silos and misinformation, wars (e.g. Here's an out-of-the-box way to address the Hamas/Israeli catastrophe) ... the collapse of the biosphere?... the threat of AI?

#1 ... Stop listening to frequent messages of experts who deny your creative capacity.
When experts say "There are no easy answers." or "There is no silver bullet", or basically "there will never be a creative breakthrough" ... don't go there! Even the Serenity Prayer starts out, "God give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change." Ask yourself, "Who is telling you "I cannot change this?" Think again. ... OK maybe 95% of the time this attitude is helpful. But notice, everything around you was once an impossible-to-solve problem. It is natural to solve impossible-to-solve issues. That's how life, not just human life, progresses. Remember to take the other 5% of your time to address the impossible-seeming problems most concerning to you. BUT!! if the problem is deeply emotional, you also have to shift your thinking to Choice-creating.
#2 ... Recognize that the big IMPOSSIBLE problems you care about are likely caused by "the System"
Our System structures a pursuit of self-interest, competition and exponential growth. Even if our young people care deeply about saving planet earth, they must earn a living. So they get a job, which orients them to join with others in seeking profits as the ultimate value. So even if everyone in the corporation or culture values the well-being of our biosphere as being most important, we still find ourselves stuck in a System serving a set of values that will naturally trash the planet. So, look favorably on all the good things people are doing to address climate change. Yippie! But know that we can't really solve this issue (or the others) until we transform our System.
#3 ... Note: Ordinary solutions are not enough. Society's Breakthrough MUST HAPPEN!
It's as though all of us are on the deck of the Titanic addressing pressing problems like homelessness, prejudice, inequities, malware, etc. with love and compassion for our fellow humans and the planet. Of course, this is good. But increasingly we must notice that the ship is heading inexorably toward an iceberg. We can no longer rely on the design of our System (i.e. the "invisible hand") to protect us from Monster Problems like climate change, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, etc.. We can no longer "pursue our happiness" as good people and assume that the ship we are standing on is safe. Society's Breakthrough offers a way to get off the ship. It's a way to get free of the old System which no longer fits our Situation. So, When someone seems depressed or hopeless about the dissolution of human society, you can tell them that you know people who think there is an "easy answer" to all of it! ... They can learn about it at this website www.WiseDemocracy.org.
#4 ... Recognize that a natural reaction to any BREAKTHROUGH is to resist it.
Although this System-transforming strategy has NO identifiable downside. And offers IMMENSE benefits. It's normal for people's first reaction to seek out flaws, resist it, and dismiss it. Just listening to a System-transforming strategy can FEEL like a death threat because "yes" we may need to redefine ourselves. ... But over the past 30 plus years of bringing this strategy forward the normal resistive reactions have lessened. More people are realizing that our System isn't working like it should and reacting with curiosity as well. ... Please, let's help those people, especially philanthropists, who are open to a breakthrough strategy for addressing, a "holution" to the climate crisis and other Monster Problems.
#5 ... Investigate this "Holution" open-mindedly
Another common response to the ToBe Project is to meet the idea with critical thinking rather than curiosity. We've been taught to look for the fatal flaw.
And usually this is a good response. But not for a Breakthrough. First must come curiosity, followed by understanding. "Hey, can this really work!!?" .... Then critical thinking is helpful. "What about X? what about Y?" ... This strategy works but "commonsense" isn't so helpful in understanding why. To understand more deeply please see the free 5-part seminar "Essential Wisdom for solving society's biggest issues:"

#6 ... Are you one of "Just Us"? ...
One big advantage of Society's Breakthrough (i.e. the ToBe Project), is that it's a facilitative approach, a holistic model for how society can be transformed. That is, we don't need to have the powerful authorities behind us to begin, nor do we need lots of people. If we understand the nature of choice-creating and Dynamic Facilitation, we (just us) can convene the essential missing "We the People" conversation. We just need some people to "get it" (i.e. just us), a few millions of dollars and some media partnerships. Check out to see if you are one of "just us".
#7 ... Help in your unique way
If you are reacting to this, like we think you should "THIS MUST HAPPEN!" ... please help. Yes, we need money to even begin. So donate if you can. Or help others to know about this. Practice describing this good--news strategy with your friends. .. Or help in some other way. Maybe you can help us stay in contact with people who express interest, or rework this website, or write to some media about this approach, or help us gain the attention of philanthropists, or climate experts, or politicians, or high school students. Heck, we should be talking to anyone who knows what's going on and is rightfully scared for the future.
