In February of 2005 the board and management of the Port Townsend Food Co-op was in desperate conflict over fundamental values. Rene Tanner, an employee, was important to resolving this conflict by convincing the board and management to try a set of Wisdom Councils. A series of three Wisdom Councils was held over the year, which ended the conflict almost immediately, built a new spirit of collaboration, and generated substantive changes. Below is a 20 minute video overview of what happened in the first Wisdom Council.
