Of course, most organizations are hierarchical, but they often want more involvement from employees or members. Other organizations, like a food coop for instance, are owned by the members and should be democratic. Yet, how does democratic governance work in these settings? ... Often it's not pretty. ... And there are deep divisions among people and little involvement from the members. ... The Wisdom Council Process (or the Creative Insight Council) is a safe way to establish a democratic governing system where people work together to come up with a unified version of what's best.
