How might people in a democracy reach conclusions?
We think there are three ways ...
1. Through voting where we make individual judgements... and then tally up the results to determine the group decision.
2. Consensus-building is another form of "decision-making" where we negotiate a mutual agreement. Unfortunately, this process usually only happens in small groups.
3. Co-sensus is when people gain a unified perspective through creativity. One example is when people achieve a breakthrough, where everyone is pleased, and where they feel empowered to enact the unified conclusion. This kind of result requires choice-creating rather than decision-making.
