The HOLUTION to the "Human Predicament" requires 8 accessible steps. With adequate resources and connections "We," just a few of us, can set this project in motion!
Step 1 ... Gather the Democracy Doulas
A "Democracy Doula" recognizes that the Monster Problems we face in society are ultimately caused by our System. He or she recognizes that it's possible to use the Wisdom Council Process (applied globally and/or nationally) to convene "one whole-System choice-creating conversation." And that this represents a structural change to our System, "A HOLUTION to the Human Predicament". And he or she accept the "response-ability" that comes with these understandings ... to help assure that this happens.
Step 2 ... Identify the first Monster Problem to address
Globally, there are many Monster Problems to address. Through experience we've found that if this issue is identified ahead of time, the process generates more attention and interest among the whole population. The issue can be selected in any number of ways. It shouldn't be well-defined or even solvable. It just needs to be something that people care about deeply.
Step 3 ... RANDOMLY select a small group from the global population
We bring together 8 to 16 random people from the pool of possible participants. If it's a global issue then we draw randomly from the world population. An accurate random selection is impossible to achieve. Key in this step that the organizers do the best they can, probably using a polling organization with an international reputation to provide the people. These Wisdom Council members are random individuals, not especially knowledgable nor do they represent any particular country or group.
Together they are a symbolic representation of all the world's population. Just taking their picture can be a meaningful step, like the first picture of earth from space.

Step 4 ... Use Dynamic Facilitation with the Wisdom Council to reliably evoke "choice-creating"
The Wisdom Council is gathered and meets just a few days with someone skilled in Dynamic Facilitation. They may need a little background information about the issue, but this should be limited to an hour or two. This group is not like an "advisory group" nor do they prepare a "recommendation" on the issue. The group is a symbol of everyone thinking together in a creative way, where they reach unity and have a story to tell about how they got there. In addressing the selected Monster Problem, by the nature of Dynamic Facilitation, they are likely to identify the "real problem" as something different than what they were first presented.
Step 5 ... Organize a f-t-f global "community meeting," which is televised, where the Wisdom Council presents it's unified perspective and the story of how this perspective was achieved
The group may need
Step 6 ... Provide opportunities for everyone in the global audience to know about the problem, the Wisdom Council perspective and to talk with others.
We want everyone to be a participant in one, ongoing, creative, global conversation about the most important global issues. Each Wisdom Council will forge a unified perspective and help the whole system of people to similarly forge a clear unified perspective. ... This is a high goal. ... But it may not be so hard to achieve. Globally most people already seem to know about football games and movie stars. We just need them to know about the Monster Problem and to be curious about the Wisdom Council perspective on those problems. And to comment to someone about what they think. In this way, that person becomes a participant in the ultimate global choice-creating conversation.
The nature of this conversation is different than normal decision-making where the minority viewpoint gets covered over. With a choice-creating conversation we seek to draw out from each person his/her/their views with an eye toward incorporating them into the final conclusion.

Step 7 ... Structure global Wisdom Councils to repeat indefinitely.
Anyone can set up a global Wisdom Council Process that is ongoing, with new random groups selected regularly to address Monster Problems, reach shared conclusions and to support the new "ongoing inclusive whole-system choice-creating conversation.' If the process is ongoing like this, then this simple step can become a fundamental, STRUCTURAL adjustment to the global system. Of governance, economics, culture, etc.
