Marching in the Fourth of July Parade

On the Fourth of July, many people in Ashland, Oregon, gather to wave at their friends and neighbors marching in the parade. We thought that would be an ideal time to begin our outreach effort.

We had a banner made, marched in the parade, and then spent the rest of the day at the booth we'd set up, talking to lots of people. We had some great conversations, and a bunch of people signed up to get occasional updates on the progress of the Wisdom Councils project.

It was a very good day . . . an excellent beginning to the process of sharing information and hope with the community.
